Don’t hold back…just be youself!
The sun’s down, but the heat is up. Groovy thangs are on the surrounding air. Go with it, baby, to the end of da night.
What a night I had last night…Night Session XXIII
theswordthestreets asked: hey! thats the reason I put Tensnake on their, he is the most interesting one, as you said :) Though i'm also a major Jacques Renault fan as well, i'm loving the OTP Party Breaks Vol. 6 EP that came out not too long ago. never fails to get me in a groovy mood :) I trust you've also heard the new Todd Terje song? (called 'Inspector Norse') if not, you need to hit up YouTube and check that out, pronto!
Oh, yes…Todd Terje. I bought It’s the Arps EP as soon as it was released and had it on repeat for a week. “Inspector Norse” and “Swing Star Pt. 2” still stands out for me. “Pierre Does Best (JR Edit)” finally offers me a good Gypsy Woman mix to use for DJ sets. Right now I’m groovin’ to whatever Pets Recordings dishes out. Some exciting new sounds on that label.
in a slump with school and art and inspiration and life and feelings and how i feel about everything but thats ok isnt it? is it bad to know why all the time? dont you just have to not know sometimes in order to find out later?
i’m just too anxious for later.
Inspiration will come. Sometimes you have to work at it. Eventually ideas come into place, like a light slowly being turned on in a dark room, or suddenly, like a strobe light in a dance hall. I usually just work through that shit. Make a bunch of things. A lot of it may be crap, but some of it will be good. Hold onto the good and then go forward. I think you just have to be productive now and it will help the later on. When the later comes, you will be proud that you made it happen yourself with hard work. Don’t rush the future…let it happen on it’s own.
